About the Role.
iGravity is looking for a Financial Accountant to join its Finance, Operations & Risk team in Milan, Italy.
The role will take ownership of iGravity’s day-to-day accounting operations as the firm brings its accounting function in-house, working closely with the CFO and coordinating with the external fiduciary during the transition period.
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for core bookkeeping and payment activities, including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, payments, accruals and prepayments, fixed asset management, and subsidiary ledger management. The role will also support tax and regulatory requirements, including VAT returns, tax liabilities, and capital contribution reporting.
The role will contribute to financial reporting and compliance through intercompany reconciliations between Switzerland and Kenya, preparation of quarterly management accounts and annual financial statements, audit preparation, and coordination with external auditors and the outsourced payroll provider.
The Financial Accountant will also support broader finance operations, including invoicing, expense and credit card management, financial planning and forecasting, budgeting, cash management, and ad hoc financial analysis. This is an opportunity to work closely with iGravity’s CFO and gain broad exposure to finance operations across an international, regulated impact investment firm.
The position is based in Milan, Italy, and is structured as a full-time, open-ended role with flexibility to work remotely up to three days per week.
