iGravity awarded the Catalyst Capital & Community Impact Award at the inaugural BFBI Biennial Conference & Award event
Last month, we were honoured to receive the Catalyst Capital & Community Impact Award at the inaugural BFBI Biennial Conference & Award, hosted by the FE+MALE Think Tank on March 17th.
iGravity was selected by a jury of experts (alongside IKEA Group Schweiz and the International Trade Centre) as one of three winners from 100 applicants, recognised for our commitment to gender equality and equal opportunities in entrepreneurship, and for mobilising capital, resources, and partnerships to generate meaningful impact and ensure opportunities reach those shaping the future.
This recognition means a great deal to us — because inclusive entrepreneurship isn’t a side theme at iGravity, it’s central to what we do. As just one example, data collected for February 2026 across our Emerging Impact Debt strategy shows that 1,008 MSMEs benefitted from targeted financial support — 81% of which are female-owned. Additionally, 50% of our portfolio assets are aligned with the GIIN Gender Lens Investing Initiative and/or the 2X Criteria.
We are particularly proud, as this award recognizes our efforts to build a more equitable and sustainable world, one in which high-impact entrepreneurs have access to the capital and expertise required to grow their businesses and generate inclusion and prosperity.
The Beat the Funding Bias Initiative (BFBI) exists to address a striking reality: only about 7% of women-led startups receive funding. FE+MALE Think Tank translates cutting-edge research into practical tools for investors, decision-makers, and female entrepreneurs to challenge the unconscious biases that drive this gap.
We are proud to be recognised alongside organisations doing exceptional work in this space, and grateful to Heidi Foppa (iGravity board member) for accepting the award on behalf of the team.
Thank you to FE+MALE, the BFBI jury, and everyone who makes this ecosystem possible.
